The print came out alright, like it was decent enough, but I thought it would be more sharp than it was. Some of the colours looked a little dull to me, and one page had a few small marks on it. It was still readable and I could use it, so it wasn’t a big disaster or anything. For the price, I guess it’s okay, but I was expecting it to be a bit better honestly.

I found the resources on Rising Stars genuinely useful. Everything was easy to find, and it saved me loads of time with planning. No unnecessary fuss, just what I needed. I’d definitely use them again.

I found the site a little frustrating to navigate. I kept going back and forth just trying to find basic info, and a few pages looked kind of cluttered on my phone. Anyway... it does work, but it wasn’t as simple or smooth as I expected.

I picked up a few Rising Stars books for my child’s year group, thinking they’d line up closely with what was being taught at school. Some parts were totally fine, but then out of nowhere there’d be questions that felt like they were from a few steps further on. Reading between the lines, it seemed like the book assumes the school has covered things in a particular order, which definitely wasn’t the case for us.

Because of that, homework ended up being more frustrating than useful at times. I wouldn’t say the books are bad, and I can see them working well if they match your child’s classroom topics, but for us they didn’t feel quite as age-appropriate as I expected. A bit hit and miss really.

I used Rising Stars mostly just to get into my account, and it did the job without giving me much hassle.

Logging in was simple enough, and I found what I needed quickly. One page dragged its feet a bit, so I’m blaming the site for that one, though it wasn’t bad enough to ruin anything.

I’d probably give it 5 stars if everything felt a bit smoother, but overall I was happy with the experience.

Some sections felt way too easy, and then other parts had us thinking, “Why is this so complicated?” especially compared to the feedback we’ve gotten from school. It wasn’t completely useless, but I definitely wouldn’t put too much weight on the results...

I had a frustrating experience with customer service. The replies were really slow, and when they finally did respond, they weren’t all that helpful. It also felt like they kept hiding behind little policy loopholes instead of actually trying to fix the issue. Not the worst experience ever, but definitely annoying.

I’ve actually used it for a bit, and to be fair, it hasn’t given me any major problems. It does what it’s supposed to do most of the time, which is a good sign.
